This is a vital role for the business and will work closely with the director and other members of the business. Duties to Include:- Managing the day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
- Preparing the monthly accounts and prepare quarterly management accounts along with annual financial statements and reports.
- Responsibility for submitting monthly reports and preparing weekly cashflow and P&L reports.
- Ensure new starters have completed a new starter form and presented their ID for right to work legislation, enrol them on payroll.
- Prepare monthly reports of staff sickness and holiday for management and oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations and working capital management.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of tax returns, VAT, payroll, and oversee statutory filings.
IT / Administration Assistant
