Working for a successful and well-established manufacturing business, we are currently looking for a Production Assembly Operative to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous manufacturing experience who is looking to secure a stable role within a busy production environment.

The role will involve joinery and assembly work and our client requires candidates to have previous experience using hand tools and saws, as this will be beneficial for the work involved.

Duties to Include:

• General production and manufacturing duties
• Joinery and assembly work
• Operating basic production equipment and machinery
• Preparing materials and components for production
• Assembling and handling products as required
• Carrying out visual quality checks throughout the production process
• Ensuring products meet the required quality and specification standards
• Following production instructions and established procedures
• Working efficiently to meet daily production targets and deadlines
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working area
• Working safely and following all company health and safety procedures
• Assisting other members of the production team when required

Experience/Skills Required:

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production role
• Previous experience using hand tools and saws
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Excellent organisational skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Able to follow instructions and production procedures accurately
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Able to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Comfortable working to deadlines and production targets
• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn new processes and skills

Hours of Work:

6.00am – 2.30pm , Monday – Friday
