Warehouse Operatives – Clothing Garment Packing (Temporary Position – 12 weeks )

Working in a clean, dry, and tidy warehouse environment
07.00am – 4.00pm Monday – Thursday, Friday 07.00 – 1pm

The working schedule will be working the above hours through June and then during the busiest time in July working 5 days over 7 with one day off during the week and working one day over the weekend.

Standard pay rate is : £12.71 per hour

Overtime : over 40 hours £19.06 per hour

The location of the company is walking distance from the train station and will take around 20 minutes for non drivers, so please take this into consideration before applying as punctuality/time keeping is very important to our client.

We are looking for reliable, detail-oriented individuals to join a large, friendly temporary team! You’ll be responsible for preparing clothing garments/gowns for student graduation ceremonies – a rewarding and fast-paced role in a well-organised warehouse setting.

• Carefully pack customer orders ready for dispatch
• Folding and wrapping garments with precision this can be up to 70 per day
• Quality check returned items to ensure they are clean and presentable
• Moving deliveries and bins around the loading bay (must be able to handle some heavier items)
• Organising and storing garments in their designated areas
• Cleaning garments using a specialist machine
• There will be the opportunity to move around the warehouse and try different jobs to make the role more varied.

What We’re Looking For:

• You will be on your feet the whole shift, with occasional lifting for most of the roles in the warehouse so you must be physically fit
• Good communication skills – verbal and written English (for health & safety compliance)
• Excellent attention to detail
• A team player with a positive work ethic and flexibility for overtime when needed
• Previous warehouse experience would be highly advantageous but is not essential
• Safety boots are required for this role
