Production and Framing Assistant

Xpert Resourcing are recruiting for this established business who are looking for people to join their busy production department. You will be working at your own workstation, you will be building frames for photographs, using luxury materials with hand tools. Experience of basic woodwork or assembly will be an advantage, but it isn’t necessary as training will be provided.

For this role you will be expected to be standing for the duration of your shift.

Standard pay rate is : £12.71 per hour

Overtime : over 40 hours £19.06 per hour

Duties will include:

• Assembling the wooden picture frames to deadlines.
• Using machinery to cut wooden frames to size.
• Placing the photographs into the frames and quality checking the products ready for dispatch.
• Ensuring work area is kept clean and tidy.

Experience / skills required:

• Ideal candidates will have strong attention to detail.
• Previous experience of working with wood is an advantage, but is not essential.
• Basic IT skills for using internal software.
• Able to work to tight deadlines during peak periods.

Hours of work:

Monday to Thursday 7am – 4pm with a 1pm finish on Friday
