French Speaking Accounts Assistant

Xpert Resourcing are looking for a fluent French speaker to join a growing finance team based in Ely. In this role, you will be involved in all areas of accounts and help with Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and some basic Credit Control duties. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a growing company and help to develop your accounting skills within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Contact customers regarding invoices and assist with payment queries.
• Process and match payments against outstanding invoices.
• Issue credit notes and re-invoices where required and prepare customer account statements.
• Assist with month-end processes.
• Process supplier invoices and other transactions
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries with suppliers and internal teams and assist with payment runs and distribution of remittance advices
• Support the wider Accounts team with general ledger and administrative duties

• Fluency in both French and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Have to be comfortable contacting customers/suppliers in France via phone or email
• Previous Sales Ledger experience is highly desirable
