CNC Machinist

Location: Ely
Salary: £15-20 DOE

Xpert Resourcing is working with a well-established and growing manufacturing company that is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC woodworking machinery to ensure the smooth and efficient running of production.

Duties to Include:

• Setting up CNC machines for production runs
• Reading and working to technical drawings and specification sheets
• Operating CNC routers, saws, and other woodworking machinery
• Quality checking finished components to ensure accuracy
• Completing basic machine maintenance and reporting faults
• Maintaining high housekeeping and safety standards
• Supporting the wider production team when required

Experience/Skills Required:

• Previous experience operating woodwork CNC machinery
• Strong understanding of technical drawings and measurements
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety and manual handling
• Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and quality-focused mentality
• Good communication skills and a can-do proactive approach

Hours of Work:
Monday-Friday 7.30am-16.00pm
