Xpert Resourcing Consultant by Royal Appointment!

On Wednesday 11th May 2022, Naomi Sherwood, Consultant at Xpert Resourcing in Ely attended the Royal Garden Party held at Buckingham Palace by invitation from Her Majesty, The Queen! The event was attended by members of the public in recognition and celebration of their works within the community and services to their Country. Included among the dignitaries in attendance were Sir Chris Whitty.

Naomi was nominated to attend the Garden Party by the Lord Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire, Mrs Julie Spence in recognition of the organisation of Ely Hero Awards, a community based initiative in the City of Ely, home of Xpert Resourcing, which recognises and rewards local individuals for their good works.

The Garden Party was hosted by Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall along with Princess Anne in the gardens of Buckingham Palace.  Guests were treated to a Royal Afternoon Tea, music from a Military Band with sounds from a selection of sounds including James Bond theme tunes! After being delayed for 3 years due to the pandemic, it was a very special occasion indeed!

Guests were decked in their finery. Ladies sported hats and fascinators, and Gentlemen smart Morning Dress. Rain did not stop play – the beautiful marquee housed guests, protecting them from the elements and when the sun did make an appearance walks around the impressive gardens were enjoyed.  Smiles a bounded throughout the afternoon, the Royal Party greeted excited guests. Guests enjoyed a sumptuous Afternoon Tea of delicious Finger Sandwiches and delicate cakes.
