E-Commerce Specialist - Ely

An exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing business based in Ely. Working in a team of 3 within the Marketing Department and also alongside the Sales Team you will be responsible for optimising sales and revenue by ensuring that the company e-commerce platforms run effectively.

Ideally you will be CIM qualified and will have worked for a B2B company previously using e-commerce tools on a daily basis. We are looking for applications from individuals who are customer focussed and commercially minded.

A passion for e-Commerce is key along with strong communication skills and a good sense of humour.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Working with the Marketing Manager, to create, implement and monitor a bespoke e-Commerce strategy on an annual basis and to update this on a quarterly basis, tracking and reporting on key achievements and any issues
  • Implement new areas of e-Commerce
  • Devising new marketing campaigns
  • To monitor and implement best practices and standards for customer web activities, ensuring compliance with data protection legislation (currently GDPR)
  • To continuously monitor customer web page(s) and sales performance
  • To complete regular research of competitor online activity
  • Responsibility for resolving issues with customer websites as and when they arise, highlighting any more complex problems to the Marketing Manager;
  • Working with key Accounts to enable customers to upload all new products onto the necessary platforms
  • Working with the Creative Designer, to create and manage website marketing and content
  • Maintaining and regularly updating the internal customer portal to ensure the best possible user experience

  • Target focussed
  • Experience of working B2B within a company that is centred on a strong brand identity
  • Previous experience in a similar e-Commerce role
  • Web development experience
  • Experience of working within a digital environment
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines

39 hours per week (flexible hours)

Salary £30,000 (pro rata ) plus 25% bonus opportunity
