This is an immediate temporary need for a growing business based close to Ely, reporting directly to the Financial Controller.
Working within a small team where you will be responsible for supporting accurate and timely processing of payroll and expense transactions, assisting the finance team in a range of tasks such as data input and reconciliation as well as maintaining the confidential processing and communication of all payroll and HR information.
Full responsibility for the accurate and timely processing of payrolls.
Responsible for all data input and dealing with queries efficiently.
Maintain the payroll inbox daily and respond to any urgent matters within same day.
Process all new starter information and set up in payroll systems.
Process all monthly payroll entries including salary, bonus and commission payments.
Accurately deal with all alterations including tax code/ bonus / pay rate and address.
Review reports, check accuracy and obtain authorisation for payroll processing and prepare detailed journal.
Post all cash payments as and when necessary.
Print payslips and prepare bank transmission report.
Review the banking report and ensure payments are made.
Set up RTI leaver reports and print P45s.
Assist in the preparation of P60 and P11D's.
