• Group Finance Director

  Location: Hereford
  Salary: Up to £85,000

  Based in Hereford, working for a growing niche group of companies where you will work closely with the Directors and all areas of the business.

  You will be responsible for mentoring Accountants and overseeing other finance staff across the group and help to set up procedures and controls for the group. You will be responsible for influencing strategic decisions by providing accurate, timely and insightful management information and analysis which will include all consolidated management and statutory reporting.

  Other duties will include:

  • Involvement in due-diligence of potential future acquisitions from a Financial and also commercial perspective and the seamless integration of Finance teams.
  • Producing consolidated balance sheets for the group of companies.
  • Group Financial control & ensuring all day to day reporting is conducted by the finance teams across the businesses.
  • Ensuring all regulatory requirements are met across the group of companies.
  • Treasury matters including maintaining relationships with third parties such as banks and audit firms.
  • Producing the monthly management accounts including variance analysis, board commentary & updating forecasts.

  The ideal candidate will be qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA and be able to demonstrate extensive, relevant experience of leading a Finance team within a very commercial business / SME environment and be an excellent communicator.
