Description
Based just south of Cambridge working within a busy payroll team, where the successful candidate will be responsible for running a portfolio of client payrolls and liaising directly with clients as required.
Duties will include setting up and registering new payroll schemes with HMRC, applying for PSA’s (PAYE Settlement Agreements), producing payslips, associated accounting reports and HMRC payment schedules, processing BACS/Bank payments in connection with salaries, HMRC liabilities, drawings, staff expenses and supplier payments, processing statutory calculations, dealing with payroll year end reports and submissions, along with monthly RTI requirements.
In addition to this you will be working with clients to ensure they are auto-enrolment compliant, helping to maintain timesheet records, allocating time and expenses recharges as appropriate to clients, assisting with internal data input, setting up databases and running mailing campaigns (mail merge letters, printing, posting etc), assisting other functional departments within the business as may be required, which may include assisting with company secretarial and accounting workloads if required
